1960s Daka (mod. 2021 Kleemann) traction elevator @ Deligradska 11, Belgrade, Serbia

Very nice elevator. It’s a bit slow for 7 floors, but that’s because it used to be single-speed, but the motor sounds amazing. A little shame that this one got modded, considering in this area there are quite many original Dakas, although the mod is not so bad, since they luckily kept the original wooden cab and even the manual innerdoors! The outer swing doors although got replaced. For some reason, there is also a door open and a door close button, where the door open button is completely useless because the elevator doors are opening manually, but the door close button locks the door and gets the elevator to move faster instead of waiting, so the door close button is a little bit useful. There is a security camera in the elevator too, which actually also isn’t really that rare in Serbia, although mostly they are located in the buildings and not in the elevators.
