What Are You Doing New Years Eve? - Rose Room

‘What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?’ is Rose Room’s first single from their forthcoming album which will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the multiple Scottish Jazz Award-winning band. The single has a fitting ‘Hogmanay’ theme for the Scottish band featuring vibraphone - played by top percussionist Owen Gunnell - and string quartet - led and arranged by Seonaid Aitken (bandleader, vocalist and violinist). Seonaid says..“We first heard this Frank Loesser song on the Ella Fitzgerald album ‘Ella Wishes You A Swinging Christmas’ and quickly fell in love with it! We’ve now been playing it for 10 years and finally recorded it in our unique Gypsy Jazz style with some gorgeous strings and vibraphone for a cosy, seasonal sound.” CREDITS: Rose Room… Seonaid Aitken - Vocals & Violin Tam Gallagher - Rhythm Guitar Jimmy Moon - Double Bass Conor Smith - Solo Guitar With… Owen Gunnell - Vibraphone Kristan Harvey - Violin Patsy Reid - Viola Alice Allen - Cello ✍️ Composer - Frank Loesser 🎶 Music Arranger - Seonaid Aitken 🎙️ Recording Engineer - Sandy Jones at The Foundry Music Lab, Motherwell 🎥 Videography - Adam Bulley 🖼️ Artwork - Ali Aitken 🎶 Track available to buy on Bandcamp: https://roseroomjazz.bandcamp.com/music #whatareyoudoingnye #roseroom #scottishjazz  #hogmanay #hogmanay2024 #hogmanaymusic #christmasjazz  #xmasjazz  #gypsyjazz #hotclub  #django #scottishband #glasgowjazz  #gypsystrings #frankloesser #ellafitzgerald  #newyearseve #nye #nye2024 #nyemusic #vintage #vintagevibes #vintagesongs  #1940s #1940smusic #jazzguitar #jazzviolin #jazzstrings #stringquartet #vibraphone
