American Romance is the first record Lukas Nelson has ever made on his own, and "Pretty Much" is the love song sitting right at the heart of it. We had the absolute pleasure of getting him to whittle it down to just a guitar and that voice for Tiny House. On the album the song rides a full band and a chorus that really opens up. In our living room in Wilmington we got the quiet version, just Lukas and the guitar. He has called "Pretty Much" a song about a love so strong you want their face to be the last one you see, and pared back like this, you feel every bit of that.
