Well....I'm finally back. I won't dwell too long on why things took so long. Partially it's because I started (and didn't finish) the Mechanicore Firehawk, partially it's because of just plain laziness, partially it's because of life getting in the way, and partially it's because of lack of motivation. I'll talk a bit more about it at the end. Regardless, that's all in the past now. We're back, and it's time to talk about the kit. I've been wanting to try out one of these PGU kits for a while now, and this was the first one I was able to get my hands on. Having built a lot of very complex kits now, this isn't quite at the level of some of the other kits I've built. It's definitely up there though, just not quite the peak that I've seen. The main thing that made this build special was the LED kit from UA. Of course there were no instructions provided so I ended up watching a very long tutorial which shows you how to install the wiring harness. It involved a lot of kit butchery and a lot of double-sided tape. Still, the final result is very impressive. Lots of glowing lights everywhere that really help take this kit to the next level. And aside from how long the LEDs took, it was mostly a very enjoyable build. I'm happy to have it complete. That having been said, I definitely need to tone things down a bit. The last 4 kits (Barbatos, Zaku, Firehawk, RX-78) have all been gigantic and very involved builds. I need to tone things down and get back into the rhythm of building before I try to do something more extreme. That's why the next few builds are going to be on the smaller side, and probably more unique as well. I've got quite the backlog of kits that need building, so if all goes well expect the next few weeks to have quite a few videos coming out. Thanks for being patient. I'll see you soon.
