"Thank You" Gale Jones Murphy & Derrick Jackson

Well, if you missed the Longview Sanctuary Choir Concert last Saturday, May 23, 2026, you just missed it. It was awesome on so many levels. The choir sang the house down, doing Chicago Mass Choir songs! There were several surprises. Probably one of the biggest surprises was the incomparable Gale Jones Murphy and the Maestro Derrick Jackson, two musical geniuses, playing Walter Hawkins' "Thank You" during the offering. It was spectacular. They almost shut the concert down, and we had the second half to go. Frederick Edwards (bass keyboard), Damien Roberts Jr. (drums), Chris Ward (drinking water) LOL! My, my, my!
