The Puma GTB looks like a forgotten piece of 1970s America from an alternate timeline. Its long hood, fiberglass body, Chevrolet 250 inline-six and classic GT proportions all feel familiar, yet most American enthusiasts have never heard its name. Created by Rino Malzoni and built in tiny numbers, the GTB combined American attitude, European GT influence and hand-built construction. Later, the S2 refined the formula with four round headlights, a cleaner design and a more sophisticated grand touring character. This is the story of the Brazilian GT that might have become an American cult classic.
