THE BUNGLE BUNGLES BLEW US AWAY!

We finally made it into the incredible Bungle Bungles in Western Australia! 🤩 After tackling some seriously rough road conditions to get in, we settled in for 3 nights exploring this incredible part of the Kimberley, camping at both Kurrajong Campground and Walardi Campground. Over our time in the Bungles, we packed in as many walks and sights as we could, including Homestead Valley, Echidna Chasm, Mini Palms Gorge, the Domes and Cathedral Gorge. Each walk had something completely different to offer, from towering cliffs and narrow chasms to the iconic beehive-shaped domes. One of the highlights of the trip was heading up to Kungkalanayi Lookout for sunset — the perfect way to finish a day exploring the Bungles. 🌅 Our favourite walk of the entire trip was definitely Cathedral Gorge. The sheer size of the gorge and the incredible red rock formations made it one of those places that really has to be seen in person! But getting into the Bungles wasn't without its challenges... 😅 The road conditions were rough, and unfortunately, the corrugations ended up causing some damage to the roof rack on our car.
