“Letters From Paris” is an 80s AOR / melodic rock song inspired by the golden age of late ’80s arena rock, classic AOR and and the legendary sound of bands like Bad English, Stan Bush, FM, Giant, Richard Marx, Signal, Journey and other classic AOR artists. 🎹 Catchy melodies, soaring backing vocals, big choruses, melodic guitars and atmospheric keyboards come together in a sound made for anyone who still misses the glory days of ’80s rock. ⚡ Paris has a special meaning to me. Because of my family ties to the city, I’ve been coming back to Paris regularly for more than ten years, and over time it has become almost a second home to me. That connection inspired “Letters From Paris.” 🔥 The song tells the story of a young man who leaves his quiet hometown and the girl he loves behind when he gets the opportunity to move to Paris for work. It’s the adventure he always dreamed about: a new life, crowded streets, Métro stations, cafés glowing at night, the Seine, city lights and everything Paris seems to promise. But none of it can replace the person waiting for him back home. So, in a time before smartphones, messages and video calls, he writes her letters. Night after night, with her Polaroid beside him, those letters become his way of taking her along through his new life and making the miles between them feel a little shorter. 🎸 Musically, I wanted Letters From Paris to feel like a melodic rock/AOR radio hit that could have come straight from the late 1980s: huge harmonies, catchy hooks, powerful guitars, glossy keyboards and that unmistakable combination of energy and nostalgia that made the golden era of AOR so special. If you love 80s AOR, melodic rock, arena rock, classic rock, big choruses, harmony vocals, guitar-driven anthems and vintage keyboards, I hope this song takes you back to that era! 📻 Did you enjoy “Letters From Paris”? 👉 And most importantly: which classic AOR or melodic rock band does this song remind you of? 💬Let me know in the comments 👇 🔔 SUBSCRIBE to the channel if you still believe the best rock music should have huge guitars, unforgettable melodies and choruses you can sing after just one listen! 🎹 Keep the AOR alive and thank you for the support 🤘 🛒 Check out the HARD ROCK/HEAVY METAL section of my online stores: you’ll find a wide selection of T-shirts and hoodies in every style, size, and color, plus caps, tank tops, and many more items. 👕 And it’s not just clothing — there are also accessories like bags, stickers, magnets, phone cases, pins, totes, as well as home goods such as mugs, pillows, wall art, and tapestries … all themed around hard rock and metal! https://gazzadesign.dashery.com/ https://gazza-design.hoplix.shop/ 👉 This track was created with the help of AI, built from my own main melody, vocal lines, and overall song structure to bring my 80s/90s hard rock vision to life.
