FIDE FORUM, together with Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA), recently convened a strategic board dialogue bringing together regulators, board leaders and industry practitioners to exchange perspectives on governance, trust and resilience across borders. The discussion explored the realities facing Boards as institutions operate across different jurisdictions from balancing internationally recognised governance standards with local operating realities, to strengthening board accountability, managing cross-border oversight and responding to emerging risks including financial crime, cyber risk and digitalisation.
