Vice//Versa - Took You Away (Lyric Video)

Vice//Versa - See You Soon, off their debut record Closure   / viceversapvd   So many things were left unsaid but We didn’t expect this my Unwanted guests inside your head That blurred all your senses I can’t quite figure out the cause behind your suffering Seeing you like this is killing me In this world so devout Stranded here with this doubt What took you away? As the days pass by you seem to fade away Into obscurity Once a familiar face turned stranger overnight I hope you’re at peace inside I can’t quite figure out the cause behind your suffering Seeing you like this is killing me In this world so devout Stranded here with this doubt What took you away? I wanna know what made you sick (made you sick) The heartless force that made you switch (made you switch) Buried deep in your mind as I sit by your side Watching you turn into a stranger I don’t recognize This life is cruel this life’s unfair If there’s a heaven above then maybe I will see you there This life is cruel this life’s unfair No you didn’t deserve this, I just wish I could bring you back here I think I figured out the cause behind your suffering I hope the pain’s no longer lingering This world is not so devout, no longer filled with this doubt You’ll always be with me And now I know what made you switch (made you switch) The heartless force that made you sick (made you sick) Now that I’m older I’ve come to realize The pain is gone, you’re not suffering anymore (The pain is gone, you’re not suffering anymore) ---------- Produced by: Alex Hemond Video & art by: RB DSGN
