7 Days Alone on Australia's Remote Coast | 4WD Camping & Fishing

I spent 7 days solo exploring the wild coastline of North Western Australia in a Toyota Hilux 4WD camper, searching for remote beaches, untouched fishing spots and places to camp along one of Australia's most rugged coastlines. This was one hell of an adventure, but definitely not an easy one! Finding clear water to fish, escaping relentless winds, navigating rough 4WD tracks and finding sheltered bays to fish were constant challenges. The fishing was tough for much of the trip, but persistence eventually paid off with some incredible catches throughout this 2-hour adventure film. One of my biggest frustrations was discovering just how much of Australia's coastline is restricted or blocked from public access. I understand some areas are protected or require permission, but seeing access to beaches, headlands and the ocean cut off raises some serious questions about public access to our coastline. It was also disappointing to come across rubbish in some of these remote coastal areas. Australia's wild places deserve better. This trip was a massive learning curve for me, from off-road 4WD driving and remote camping to adapting to difficult fishing conditions. But that's what adventure is all about.
