Healing is personal — but that doesn’t mean you have to do it alone.
For years, I thought healing meant figuring everything out myself. I read, prayed, journaled, meditated, worked on my mindset, and learned everything I could about trauma and personal growth. And all of those things helped me.
But eventually I realized something important: I realized there are some places in our healing that we simply cannot see by ourselves.
We can read the books. We can pray. We can journal. We can meditate. We can learn about trauma and change our mindset. And all of those things can be incredibly valuable.
But sometimes we are too close to our own story to see our own blind spots.
That’s where a good coach, therapist, mentor, or trusted guide can make such a difference. They aren’t there to heal you or “fix” you. They help you see what you may not be able to see from where you’re standing.
And that was a big realization for me.
The thing is that knowing something and being able to see it operating in your own life are two very different things. 😂
Sometimes you need someone standing outside of the maze to say:
“Dalas… the exit is RIGHT THERE.”
And you’re inside the maze going, “WHERE?!” 😂
So I would encourage everyone to invest in yourself and find a coach. I’m leaving the links to the two that i highly recommend below - you (and your inner child) will not regret investing in yourself!
