Grand Tuhon Leo T. Gaje Jr.: 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award Winner

The 2019 Martial Arts SuperShow was noteworthy for several reasons - including both the reappearance of Chuck Norris and the fact that not one, but TWO legendary martial artists were honored with Lifetime Achievement Awards. Grand Tuhon Leo T. Gaje Jr. is the Keeper of the Pekiti-Tirsia system of Kali, a weapons-oriented martial art that originated in the Philippines. Gaje was responsible for bringing the art out of the Philippines and sharing it with the larger world - starting in the 1970s and continuing through today. Grand Tuhon has personally trained thousands of students, including many other leaders in the arts, and influenced thousands more.
