Insuring the Factory of the Future | Fireside Chat with United India Insurance CMD | Ahmedabad

Watch the Fireside Chat from the Manufacturing Resilience Partner, United India Insurance Company, at the Manufacturing Reimagined: Gujarat Factory Modernization Summit, held on September 18, 2026, at Hotel Crowne Plaza, Ahmedabad. In this fireside chat, “Insuring the Factory of the Future,” Bhupesh Sushil Rahul, Chairman & Managing Director, United India Insurance Company, and Dr Ravi Seshadri, Board Advisor & Global Risk Leader, discuss how insurance must evolve alongside the changing risks of modern manufacturing. Traditional exposures such as fire, machinery breakdown, property damage and business interruption remain important. But today's factories also face growing risks from cyber threats, interconnected supply chains, technology dependence and advanced machinery. The conversation explores how insurance can move beyond being a financial response after a loss to becoming part of a broader approach to risk mitigation, resilience and business continuity. #unitedindiainsurance #insurance #insurancesector #riskmanagement #businessresilience #manufacturingindia #factory #cyberrisk #gujarat #SMECommunities ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to Amanha Idealabs Amanha Idealabs is a future-focused industry engagement and knowledge platform dedicated to strengthening India's BFSI ecosystem and SME sector through learning, thought leadership, and stakeholder collaboration.
