ZUBAYR IBN AL-AWWAM | The Prophet’s Disciple, Warrior Who Never Retreated | Powerful Nasheed *Zubayr ibn al-Awwam (رضي الله عنه)* was one of the earliest companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and one of the most courageous figures among the Sahabah. He was known for his unwavering loyalty, courage, sacrifice, and readiness to answer the Prophet's call. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ honored Zubayr with a remarkable title: *“Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is Zubayr.”* The Arabic word hawari refers to a close and devoted disciple—someone ready to stand beside and support the Prophet. Zubayr repeatedly demonstrated this devotion throughout his life. Zubayr embraced Islam at a young age and endured severe persecution because of his faith. Yet he refused to abandon Islam. His courage became especially evident on the battlefield. At the **Battle of Badr**, Zubayr fought with extraordinary bravery and was among the very few Muslim cavalrymen present. He was also wounded during the battle but continued fighting. Later, at **Uhud**, he remained among those who stood beside the Prophet ﷺ during one of the most difficult moments of the battle. During the **Battle of the Trench (Khandaq)**, the Prophet ﷺ repeatedly called for someone willing to undertake a dangerous mission. Zubayr immediately volunteered.
