Who is an Anesthesiologist | Anesthesia in Uganda

Who is an anaesthesiologist? In this video, Dr. Aporu Emmanuel breaks down what this profession is, and the critical role anaesthesiologists play in patient care. We also celebrate his remarkable achievements—being awarded the IARS 2026 Travel Grant to present findings from his thesis at a prestigious multinational anaesthesia conference, and successfully completing an 18-month fellowship with @UCSF_CHESA. Join us in congratulating Dr. Aporu Emmanuel on these milestones and his continued contribution to advancing anaesthesia care.
