Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest in Flames – The Kehlsteinhaus Fire of 2026 | Original UNRELEASED Footage

Hitler's Eagle's Nest in flames! On the night of October 23–24, 2026, a devastating fire swept through the historic Kehlsteinhaus near Berchtesgaden, Germany, leaving the world-famous landmark severely damaged. The Kehlsteinhaus, internationally known as Hitler's Eagle's Nest, was built in 1938 as part of the Nazi complex on the Obersalzberg. Having survived World War II largely intact, the historic building has now been devastated by a major fire. The BEGAFILM team was on location and documented the burning Eagle's Nest with original photographs and video footage. In this documentary, we examine the events of that night, the extraordinary challenges faced by firefighters at an altitude of 1,834 meters (6,017 feet), the arrest of a 33-year-old suspect, and the ongoing investigation into the suspected arson. We also explore the historical significance of the Eagle's Nest and discuss what the future may hold for this iconic building. 📚 More on the History & Construction of the Eagle's Nest: Interested in the historical background and how this mountaintop building was constructed?
