MAGGIE ROGERS – ALASKA COVER (LIVE LOOPING)

I fell in love with Maggie's songwriting the moment I first heard Alaska. The lyrics have so much depth in them and I immediately started to imagine a slower version, in which you can actually see those glacial plains she's singing about. I was in Bali at the time, so I sat on the balcony facing a wild jungle during a sunset and felt so grateful to be able to record this in such beautiful scenery. The whole trip was just magical and I wanted this video to be sort of a love letter to this island. I hope you enjoyed it.
