This $1755 Camera Just Beat the FX5

he Sony FX5 is a great camera. It’s also $5000, currently more expensive than an FX6 in NZ, and shipping delayed over quality control. So while everyone waits on pre-orders, I’ve been looking at what else that money buys — including one camera that does most of what the FX5 does for under a third of the price, and has quietly become a much better camera than when I bought it. Where the compromises actually are, and whether they matter.
