What's up guys and girls welcome to my channel and thank you for stopping by. I enjoy trying to make dedicated invasion builds and testing different weapons/setups for invasions. Come along and enjoy the shenanigans that is Elden Ring! Since one of the most recent update went live, shields were buffed even though they were already quite strong IMO and some people may say obnoxious. Against some setups its a complete hard counter and forces you to swap your approach on how to deal with these kinds of phantoms. I have found plenty of ways to deal with shield users they aren't exactly impossible to beat in fact rather easy to deal with when you understand their movement patterns and how to counter them. Kick is one of my favourite ashes of war to deal with this kind especially when I'm powerstancing weapons because they can't even tell that i've swapped ashes. I will be showcasing more ways on how to deal with this just from general playstyle but an honourable mention would be the weapon dryleaf arts + hammer talisman. I've always been able to break shield users guard this way in ONE jumping R2.
