The Harvest Blessing Dance is performed by Haochong Dance Troupe representing Joint Tribe Council (JTC) of INPUI, RONGMEI, LIANGMAI & ZEME. It is a sacred cultural performance that takes place during the Karingei Festival (A festival of living human beings), celebrated in the beginning of the year and before the start of the annual agricultural activities. This traditional dance is deeply rooted in the community's connection to the land and their reliance on divine blessings for a fruitful harvest. The dance is not just a performance but an act of faith and offering of gratitude and supplication. The community joins in unison, clapping and singing, fostering a spirit of unity and shared purpose.
