SHE IS THE KING – JACQUELINE FEILICH A Unique Female Celebration of Elvis Presley *"Visually and musically, 'She Is The King' is imbued with a number of iconic Elvis qualities."* — Piers Beagley, The Elvis Information Network Who is this woman in leather and sunglasses? Meet Jacqueline Feilich, internationally recognised as *SHE IS THE KING* – an Australian singer and performer delivering a distinctive musical celebration of Elvis Presley. This is not an Elvis impersonation. Jacqueline is a tribute artist who explores the music, influences and legacy of the King through her own powerful, soulful vocals and unmistakable stage presence. With vocal influences reminiscent of gospel and blues legends Mahalia Jackson and Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Jacqueline brings a rich and individual interpretation to the music that continues to inspire generations. INTERNATIONAL ELVIS RECOGNITION Jacqueline reached the semi-finals of the inaugural Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Competition in Tupelo, Mississippi, in 2007. She also became the first female Elvis tribute artist to perform live at Elvis After Dark at Graceland Crossing in Memphis, Tennessee, during Elvis Week in 2007, 2008 and 2009. She was subsequently selected for the Elvis Presley Enterprises-endorsed Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Competition at Wintersun on the Gold Coast in 2010. With more than two decades of performances, Jacqueline has developed a loyal following in Australia and internationally. She regularly appears on the Australian Elvis and rock 'n' roll festival circuit and has performed on dedicated Elvis and Rock 'n' Roll cruises. A DIFFERENT KIND OF ELVIS TRIBUTE Elvis Presley explored Gospel, Country, Rock, Pop and Blues throughout his extraordinary career. These musical influences are at the heart of SHE IS THE KING. Featuring Jacqueline's deep, soulful vocals, strong backing harmonies and accomplished Australian musicians, the production delivers a distinctive live experience that celebrates the music rather than attempting to imitate the man.
