Foggy Morning Walk from Conkers to Moira Furnace Museum & Country Park 🚐🌫️

🌫️ *A FOGGY MORNING WALK FROM CONKERS TO MOIRA FURNACE! 🚐🥾* Welcome back to **Motorhoming Fun**! Today we're continuing our stay at *Conkers Camping & Caravanning Club Site* and heading out on foot for a lovely morning adventure through the surrounding countryside. Leaving the campsite behind, we follow the *woodland trails* before eventually reaching the **canal towpath**, which leads us towards the historic **Moira Furnace Museum and Country Park**. But there was a little surprise waiting for us when we arrived… 😲 The whole area looked incredibly quiet, and unfortunately we soon discovered that **Moira Furnace Museum was closed**, as it only opens at certain times, including weekends and school holidays. Even the canal boat wasn't running, so our planned visit didn't quite go the way we'd hoped! Still, we weren't going to let that spoil our morning. 🌫️📸 With the fog creating a lovely atmosphere, we took the opportunity to get the *DJI Mini 5 Pro* into the air for a quick drone flight, spent some time taking photographs and then explored more of *Moira Country Park* on foot. We had a brief walk around the park before deciding to head back towards the campsite. We were still hoping that perhaps the museum might open later in the morning, but unfortunately, when we returned, it was still closed. So we headed back along the **canal towpath**, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful autumn morning before making our way back to Conkers.
