Jetstar Airways JQ253 : Flying from Auckland to Wellington

12th September 2022 I missed Wellington. And my friend, Quoc, had never been before. So after meticulous planning, we decided on a day trip to the capital. We're flying aboard Jetstar on their 12 years old Airbus A320-200, VH-VGO. We arrived at Auckland Airport in the early hours of the morning. Then we promptly checked in and grabbed a quick bite before going through security. The plane was already parked at Gate 23, so as soon as boarding commenced, we boarded and I settled in Seat 21A. Once the crew made their announcements, we pushed back and taxied to the runway before taking off towards Wellington in cloudy conditions. During the flight, I received my meal of a chocolate muffin paired with a bottle of water that I'd pre-paid earlier online. The muffin was tasty and saved my appetite till we got to the capital. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I lost footage of the landing so I compensated this with footage from the previous JQ253 trip report. After we landed in rainy weather, we then taxied and parked at Gate 21. Overall, an enjoyable flight that we were satisfied with. Once we disembarked, we proceeded into the terminal and took a bus to the city centre. We only had hours before our return flight so there was no time to waste! While the weather was not as pleasant as we'd hoped, we made the best of our trip and were keen to head back to Auckland on the return journey. This trip wouldn't be possible without Jetstar's unbelievably affordable airfares, and I was glad to fly them once more.
