Being Led by the Spirit | Sunday Service Sermon by Jonathan Oyugi

Join us for this powerful Sunday service as Minister Jonathan Oyugi shares a timely word on being led by the Holy Spirit in our journey of increase. The service begins with vibrant worship and declarations: “God loves me. God cares about me. I am helped of God.” We are reminded from Romans 10:17 that confession brings the word to pass. Jonathan then ministers on the critical need for every believer to live under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Drawing from Genesis, he revisits Adam’s fall as a departure from God’s instruction and the enemy’s long hunt for the seed that would crush his head. He points to Jesus’ coming, His death, and the sending of the Helper (John 14:16), revealing the great mystery hidden for ages: “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:26-27). Key scriptures include:Proverbs 3:5-7 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart… lean not on your own understanding… in all your ways acknowledge Him… 2 Peter 1:3 – His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him 1 Peter 1:23 – Born again of incorruptible seed Romans 12:2 – Transformed by the renewing of the mind Psalm 1 – Delight in the law of the Lord John 14:15 – If you love Me, keep My commandments Jonathan challenges us to make the Word of God the primary way the Spirit leads us, to develop a heart that hates wickedness, to acknowledge God in every decision, and to walk in childlike trust rather than our own understanding. He illustrates with practical examples and the life of Joseph, whose fear of the Lord preserved him in the darkest seasons. The service closes with worship, offerings, and announcements (first-three-days monthly fast, departments, investment club, Tuesday Bible study, and Friday midnight prayer).May this word awaken you to the leadership of the Holy Spirit and the reality of Christ in you.If this blessed you, like, comment, share, and subscribe for more life-transforming messages.#LedByTheSpirit #JonathanOyugi #HolySpirit #SundayService #ChristInYou #TrustInTheLord
