When Hummingbirds Cry Jocki 09/2026 There was a girl in Missouri, with a sunrise in her eyes. She painted dreams on empty walls and taught my heart to fly. We were friends for years and years, two shadows side by side, till somewhere in the summer rain our friendship turned to light. Every morning on her porch, we watched the world go by— little wings of ruby fire dancing through the sky. We watched the hummingbirds fly, little flames in a summer sky. They came for the flowers, they came for the light, then vanished like dreams at the edge of the night. When the blue turned to gray and the warm days passed by, I learned how a heart can break when hummingbirds cry. Then clouds came over slowly, and reasons filled the air. The garden lost its colors, and love grew thin and bare. I stumbled through my shadows, made mistakes I can't deny, but I never gave my heart away— I never told her lies. When your name is lost to rumor, it's a long road back to grace. You can spend a lifetime climbing just to find your place. We watched the hummingbirds fly, little flames in a summer sky. They came for the flowers, they came for the light, then vanished like dreams at the edge of the night. Now the porch is empty, and the morning passes by. I still see her in the colors of a fading summer sky. Some birds aren't meant for cages, some love isn't meant to stay— you can hold the empty silence, but you can't hold yesterday. When hummingbirds cry. Fly on, little hummingbird, fly wherever you choose. The porch is empty now, but I'll remember you. Audio by CakeWalk, Suno 5.5
