SPURS FANS: No Middle Ground!

SPURS FANS: NO MIDDLE GROUND Are Tottenham supporters becoming more divided than ever? It seems that whenever you express an opinion about Spurs these days, you're immediately placed into one of two camps. You're either positive or negative. Optimistic or pessimistic. Backing the club or supposedly against it. But why? Why can't we praise Tottenham when they get things right and criticise them when they get things wrong? A few wins shouldn't mean people cant be happy and equally it doesn't mean all concerns have disappeared! Some live game by game, some believe in the bigger picture! Why does questioning the manager, the players, the recruitment strategy or the direction of the football club automatically make somebody negative? And equally, why should supporters who remain optimistic be labelled as happy clappers? Today on SAVVA, we're discussing the growing divide amongst Tottenham supporters and whether we've lost the ability to have balanced, sensible football conversations. For me, football has never been black and white, even when your team plays in those colours! You can celebrate a victory and still question the performance. You can criticise a defeat and still recognise the positives. And most importantly, you can disagree with another Tottenham supporter without questioning their loyalty to the club. GET INVOLVED! Are you considered a positive or negative Spurs fan? Do you think the fanbase has become unnecessarily divided? I'd love to hear from supporters on both sides of the debate, and especially those who don't believe they belong in either camp. ‪@SavvaFTBL‬ All opinions welcome. Respectful disagreement encouraged!
