Grease Paint and Bulls (1979 - 24 Minutes, #505-HD)

Bull fighting is no laughing matter - yet humor has been added to the art of it. The primary role of the rodeo clown is not to entertain but to serve as a lifeguard. One of those rodeo clowns is Bob Romer, entertainer and life saver. Host Russ Peake digs into the dirt of bull fighting associated with the professional sport of bull riding in this CFCN Television documentary - Grease Paint and Bulls. Special thanks to the other featured rodeo clowns Marvin "Quail" Dobbs, Jon Taylor and Skipper Voss. Production credits: host/writer Russ Peake, producer/director Gird Enno, photographer Robin Lawless, sound Bruce Nelson, editors Alan Anderson and Maurice Angus and, production assistant Loy Smith.
