Liberace with Jack Benny 1954

Liberace had no problem with the kidding he got even he himself poking fun. A big component of Jack Benny's comedy was Jack and cast poking fun at himself. Here we have Liberace guesting on Jack's show. A perfect combination for a fun episode. With cigarette commercials long gone from broadcasting, interesting to see commercials here for Lucky Strike. Singer Dorothy Collins does the first commercial. At this time I believe she was one of the singers on "Your Hit Parade" also sponsored by Lucky Strike. Boomers in the New York area will recognize long time children's show host Sandy Becker doing the last commercial. A common procedure in radio and early television was building (sneaking?) a commercial into an episode's plot.
