This profound Bayan (உரை) addresses the escalating social vices and youth delinquency observed in the Sri Lankan Muslim community, including rampant drug abuse, immoral relationships leading to abandoned babies, and family breakdowns (ஓடிப்போகும் கலாச்சாரம்). The central argument is that the rise in these societal problems stems from neglecting the Divine commands and Prophetic Sunnah. Islam is a perfect and complete Deen (சூரா அல்-மாயிதா 5:3) that provides guidance for all ages and technological advancements. The ultimate solution lies in implementing Islamic principles starting with the family unit. Parental Responsibility: The Quran commands, "Protect yourselves and your families from the Fire" (குர்ஆன் 66:6). Every individual is a responsible guardian and will be questioned about their dependents on the Day of Judgment. Emaan over Worldly Education: While quality food and education are given, the essential ingredient of Emaan and Taqwa is missing, which jeopardizes the children's future. Luqman's Methodology: Luqman (A.S.)'s advice to his son (குர்ஆன் 31:12-13) highlights that parental guidance should begin with love and closeness ("Ya Bunayya – என் தங்க மகனே"). A father must be the child's first Hero and friend, ensuring the child is comfortable sharing problems with the parents rather than outsiders.The First Command: Luqman's first advice was to avoid Shirk (இணை வைத்தல்), as it is the greatest injustice ($Ẓulm$).Establishing Prayer (Salah): Prayer is the ultimate shield: "Indeed, Ṣalāh prohibits immorality and wrongdoing" (குர்ஆன் 29:45). A child connected to the Masjid (பள்ளிவாசல்) will not engage in destructive behaviour. We must reject Western cultural influences (மேற்கத்திய கலாச்சாரம்) that undermine family values and revert to the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), who is the Best Role Model (குர்ஆன் 33:21) for all aspects of life. Parent-Child Bond: Luqman (A.S.) போதனையில் உள்ளபடி, வாப்பா பிள்ளைக்கு ஹீரோவாக இருந்து, அன்பு வார்த்தை (Ya Bunayya) பேசி நெருக்கத்தை உருவாக்க வேண்டும். No Western Culture: 18 வயதில் பிள்ளைகளை விட்டுவிடும் Western Law-ஐ விட்டு, இஸ்லாம் காட்டும் குடும்பப் பாதுகாப்பைப் பின்பற்றுங்கள். Do not take the Jews and Christians as allies (குர்ஆன் 5:51). The Power of Salah: நரகத்துக்குள் (Sakar) போக ஒரு காரணம் தொழுகை இல்லாமை (குர்ஆன் 74:42-43). Prayer (தொழுகை) மட்டுமே இளைஞர்களைத் தீமையிலிருந்து தடுக்கும்.
