CHINATOWN MOVIE - Full Flower Moon Band

This is the Chinatown Movie. An audio visual concept album. The soundtrack is out now via Dirty Power Studios: https://fullflowermoonband.bandcamp.c... Babyshakes presents a raw and gritty expression of a future where algorithms dictate identity reminiscent of Blade Runner, with the 70’s cult vibe of The Holy Mountain. Currently being described as a ‘meta film’. Babyshakes brings together film makers from around the world to make this lo-fi, DIY Matrix experience. Still, Chinatown remains a uniquely Australian production, featuring mostly members of Brisbane and Melbourne’s independent/ underground music scene. Inspired by Fredrico Fellini’s film making ethos, Babyshakes Dillon constantly smashes the 4th wall, makes eye contact with the camera, breaks her own character, speaks in rhyme, and most importantly, weaves Full Flower Moon Band's exquisite CHINATOWN ALBUM soundtrack throughout the 25 minute journey. This album features a cleaner aesthetic to the band's previous releases, even a recording from 4AD studios in London. Having just finished a world tour with long term collaborator Gabriella Cohen. The previously released lo-fi, grunge, experimental version of this movie is still available online, as the audio visual CHINATOWN EP.
