✦ EXTENDED MIX ✦ Breaking Benjamin — The Diary of Jane

Created an extended version of The Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin. I mostly made this mix for me and my brother, but I liked how it came out, so I figured I’d post it. I went through a few different versions of the song and blended parts of them together. I used some of the softer vocals and piano/acoustic sections to back up parts of the chorus and make those sections feel a little bigger without changing the song too much. I also used parts of a lullaby version for the beginning and ending, which gave the mix a softer intro and outro before going into the main track. The main idea was just to make a longer version of the song that still feels like The Diary of Jane, while mixing in a few different interpretations of it.
