Kop Hill Climb 2026 in a Modern Classic Lancia Delta Integrale Evo #lancia #lanciadeltaintegrale

Today, I'm driving the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo to Kop Hill Climb, which is held in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire. Fortunately, it turned out to be a lovely sunny day on the Saturday. It's about an hour's drive from the storage unit. Although obviously an enjoyable drive in the Lancia Delta!! I set up the usual 360 camera, GoPros and exhaust mic - turning them on about 20 mins from Kop Hill. You have to factor set up time into your journey because it takes about 15 minutes. As you approach the Kop Hill area, it's great to see the array of classic cars and motorbikes making the journey to the hill climb. Kop Hill Climb is a yearly event, run entirely by volunteers, with all money going to local charities. Although, historically a competitive event, the modern, charity version of Kop Hill Climb began in 1999, and has become a well known event in the automotive calendar. I thoroughly enjoyed the day - it's great to see these classic cars being driven. The Lancia Delta got a lot of attention, and I noticed there were a couple of others at the event as well. Of course, it isn't just the hill climb that takes place - there are lots of things to see and do, including live bands, trade displays, food stalls, kids fairground rides / go karts, plus the annual soapbox competition. I hope the video gives a feel of the the event and run up the hill, as well as the fun and experience of driving the modern classic Lancia Delta Integrale Evo. Thanks to all the volunteers who made it a great day. 👍 Note: I've received comments about the terrible "muzak" - unfortunately, sometimes sound from the mics isn't good enough, or has too much exterior background noise, in which case I put music over the top. Where the mic recordings are good enough, I always prefer to have the sound of the cars.
