A bus hits you at 40 mph and folds around you like a soda can. Not a scratch.
You can't age, you can't be hurt, and you'll stay this way for a googol years: a 1 followed by 100 zeros.
Your best friend Nick bets you $20 that you'll break eventually. So you test it. You skydive from the edge of space with no parachute, let lightning hit you, and walk on the Moon in a hoodie. Then the years get bigger. You ride the Earth into the red giant Sun, sit beside the last star in the universe as it goes out, outlive every atom, and watch the black holes evaporate one by one. A trillion years in, your progress bar still says 0%.
But a googol isn't the end of the story.
Would you take the bet? Tell me in the comments.

• What If You Lived 1 Trillion Years?
THE REAL SCIENCE (best current estimates, all approximate)
• Googol = 10¹⁰⁰
• ~5 billion years: the Sun swells into a red giant. Around 7.5 billion years it probably swallows the Earth.
• ~100 trillion years: the universe runs out of gas to make new stars.
• Black dwarfs: not one exists yet. The universe isn't old enough.
• Proton decay: Super-Kamiokande in Japan has watched 50,000 tons of ultra-pure water for decades. If protons decay at all, they last at least 10³⁴ years.
• Hawking radiation (1974): a black hole as heavy as the Sun evaporates in about 10⁶⁷ years. One as heavy as 100 billion Suns takes about a googol years.
• The ending is based on Roger Penrose's Conformal Cyclic Cosmology. Penrose won the 2020 Nobel Prize in Physics, but most physicists don't accept this idea.
An animated "what if" story. Time scales are simplified for the story.
