This is a song that I've really been enjoying from the Country Genre. Alan Jackson actually has a few songs that I like. This one is fun to play as well, but I honestly thought it was much newer than it really is (like mid 2000's to mid 2010's). The song is older than me!
The bass is pretty easy to hear, but there are a couple instances where the octave of the note is hard to tell (like open E vs up an octave). Also, the song fits very well as being based on frets 7 and 9, but also down low in first position with 0,2,4. Live videos will be key for positioning. Lastly, a lot of the notes seem like they are a dotted quarter, rather than a regular quarter or a half note. That's consistent with a double bass (or upright bass) being harder to properly mute, but that notation is a little clunky and it's not consistent/clear, so I chose to notate as just quarter notes and then deviate when needed just to be clear and concise.

Roy Huskey Jr. is the double bassist, and 0:18 you csee a double bassist. Also, position there agrees with 7/9 on electric
0:34 - walks up low to mid
0:52 - same higher positioning
0:54 - same
Thanks for watching! Enjoy :)
