Burglar Box is the ninth episode of Season 25 (Series 12) of The Sooty Show, originally aired on March 3, 1988. Directed and produced by Stan Woodward and written by Matthew Corbett, the episode features Matthew concerned about home security. In response, Sooty invents a "Burglar Box" to store valuables safely. Matthew attempts to prove the box is ineffective but ends up getting covered in paint by the device. Later, the box appears to be stolen with Matthew's money inside, leading to a wild goose chase where Matthew tracks a transmitter attached to his real-life dog, Label, while the puppets relax in a neighbor's pool. The episode concludes with Matthew finding the box safe on the table, with Sooty holding his money.
