BroniPan: I Turned my Bronica SQ into an X-Pan... Sort of.

I turned my Bronica SQ into a panoramic 35mm film camera. Is it a budget Hasselblad XPan alternative? Well… sort of. Meet the BroniPan. By modifying the Bronica SQ 135N film back, you can shoot panoramic 35mm photographs without tracking down the rare and expensive 135W back. And you don't need to spend Hasselblad XPan money to get started. In this video, I explain how the Bronica panoramic conversion works, walk through the 135N-to-135W modification, and cover the 3D printed parts, materials, and assembly process. I'll also compare the Bronica SQ system to the Hasselblad XPan, including image format, lens options, cost, and some of the compromises involved. It's not an XPan. It's not exactly new.
