Belfast Northern Ireland My First Impressions September 2026

Discover Belfast, Northern Ireland, in late September 2026, during our family trip from Glasgow. We spent two nights at Second Nature Belfast Hotel while exploring the city centre, waterfront and famous Titanic Quarter. We explored Belfast city centre in daylight, then went for an evening walk after dusk to enjoy the illuminated city views. The following day, we explored the Maritime Mile along the River Lagan, saw a ship in the harbour and passed by the famous Titanic Belfast museum, admiring the impressive building from the outside. We then took the bus back to the city centre for more exploring and enjoyed a sightseeing bus tour in the rain. Along the way, we saw Belfast City Hall from the outside, a clock tower, St Mary's Church and some of the surrounding streets.
