🌐 *AWS VPC Tutorial – Day 5 | NAT Gateway & Private Database | English + Odia* Welcome to *AWS VPC Day 5!* 🚀 In this session, we take our AWS VPC and 2-Tier architecture one step further by learning about the *NAT Gateway* and understanding how resources inside a *Private Subnet* can communicate with the internet without being directly exposed to it. We cover both **theory and hands-on practical implementation**, including creating a NAT Gateway, configuring a private EC2 instance, accessing the Database Server through a Bastion Host, configuring the database, and validating that everything is working correctly. The session is explained in **English + Odia (ଓଡ଼ିଆ)**. 📚 Topics Covered in This Video 🔹 What is a *NAT Gateway* in AWS? 🔹 Why do we need a NAT Gateway? 🔹 How does a NAT Gateway work with a **Private Subnet**? 🔹 *Public NAT Gateway vs Private Resources* 🔹 How to *Create a NAT Gateway* step by step 🔹 Understanding *Elastic IP (EIP)* 🔹 Why does a NAT Gateway require an Elastic IP? 🔹 How to access a *Private Database Server using a Bastion Host* 🔹 Configure a *Database Server on a Private EC2 Instance* 🔹 Install and configure the database in a private environment 🔹 Validate whether the Database Server is *properly configured and accessible* 🔹 Understand the traffic flow between: *Bastion Host → Private EC2 → Database* and *Private Subnet → NAT Gateway → Internet* 🏗️ Practical Architecture In this session, we work with an architecture similar to: 🌐 *Internet* ↓ 🛡️ *NAT Gateway + Elastic IP* ↓ 🔒 *Private Subnet* 🗄️ *Database EC2* At the same time, we use: 🖥️ *Bastion Host → Private Database EC2* to securely access and configure the database server. 🎯 What You Will Learn By the end of this session, you will understand: ✅ What NAT Gateway is and why it is required ✅ How private resources access the internet through NAT Gateway ✅ How to create and configure a NAT Gateway ✅ What an Elastic IP is and why it is used ✅ How to access a private EC2 using a Bastion Host ✅ How to configure a database on a private EC2 instance ✅ How to validate your database configuration ✅ How the different AWS networking components work together 🌐 Theory + Practical This session covers *both theoretical concepts and practical AWS Console/EC2 demonstrations**, so you can understand not only *what NAT Gateway and Elastic IP are, but also **how they are used in a real AWS architecture**. 🌐 Language *English + Odia (ଓଡ଼ିଆ)* Designed for: ✅ AWS Beginners ✅ Cloud Computing Students ✅ DevOps Beginners ✅ AWS Certification Aspirants ✅ Cloud & DevOps Interview Preparation ✅ Aspiring Cloud Engineers & DevOps Engineers 📌 AWS VPC Series ▶️ *Day 1:* VPC Basics, Default VPC, CIDR, Custom VPC & EC2 ▶️ *Day 2:* IGW, Public/Private Subnets, Route Tables, Multi-AZ & High Availability ▶️ *Day 3:* Public vs Private Subnet, Local Route, EC2 Communication & Bastion Host ▶️ *Day 4:* 2-Tier Architecture, High Security & High Availability ▶️ *Day 5:* NAT Gateway, Private Database, Bastion Host, Elastic IP & Database Validation 👍 If you find this session useful, **Like, Share & Subscribe**. 📢 If you know someone learning **AWS, Cloud or DevOps**, share this video with them. ☁️ *Learn • Practice • Build • Grow 🚀* #AWS #AWSVPC #AWSinOdia #AWSNetworking #DevOps
