Middleton Railway - Autumn Gala, 7th September 2025

The other day, ‪@CrimRail‬ and I went down to the Middleton Railway for their annual Autumn gala. Running was Hawthorn Leslie 3860 'No. 6', Manning Wardle 1210 'Sir Berkeley' (in replacement of the failed Brookes No. 1) and D2999. It was a rather good day, with the added amusement of a child (who goes to Middleton regularly) pointing at me and asking "do the staff of the Middleton Railway still go here on their days off just to take pictures?"
