(PSALM 9:10 KJV) EXPLANATION: I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Psalm 9:10 reminds us that those who know the name of the Lord can place their trust in Him, because He never forsakes those who seek Him. Today, people search for many things. Students look for courses and opportunities. Adults seek wisdom. Many seek money, material things, position, and fame. But the Word of God calls us to seek the Lord every day. Seek His presence, seek His face, and seek the good portion that will never be taken away from you. People may travel to mountains and holy rivers searching for God and asking, “Where is the Lord?” They search for someone who can solve their problems and end their struggles. But Jesus Christ came down from heaven to earth to seek and save the lost. Like a good shepherd searching for a lost sheep, He came looking for us. How much more should we seek Him and His presence? Worldly strength, wealth, beauty, fame, and possessions are temporary. What we gain in this world cannot last forever. But those who seek the Lord receive blessings that are eternal. Beloved, seek the Lord with love early in the morning. Love Him with all your heart. Jesus said, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33) Ezra testified, “The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.” (Ezra 8:22) Are you waiting for God's blessing? Are you carrying pain that has remained for a long time? Do not be discouraged. Trust in Christ. “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.” (Psalm 34:10) God does not want you to live in fear or discouragement. Continue to trust Him and remain faithful. “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.” (Proverbs 23:18) If you have lost something today, bring that need before the Lord.
