(short) The Great American Duck Race race 1

this is a short, there will be a longer video. i am having technical difficulties. Welcome to the Great American Duck Race in Deming, New Mexico — 2026! 🦆🇺🇸 This is the first race I recorded, and I managed to capture several more after this one before the New Mexico heat finally won the battle. A little warning: the camera gear is new, and the guy running it is pretty new too. 😂 I’m learning fast, but I don’t just look new at this — I AM new at this. I’m learning the cameras, figuring out what works, making mistakes, and getting a little better every time I hit record. I’m chasing a dream with the Lazy KO Ranch, and I decided I’d rather start now and learn along the way than wait until I knew everything. Unfortunately, the heat eventually had other plans. My phone started overheating, the Insta360 started overheating, and eventually I had to shut everything down. So I didn't capture the entire event, but I did get the beginning and several of the races before the cameras called it quits. The videos will get better. The camera work will get better. I’ll get better. But everybody has to start somewhere — and this is part of my start. Thanks for coming along for the ride, watching me learn, and supporting the dream.
