Dr. Ameya has specialised expertise in several advanced areas of modern IVF, particularly embryo biopsy and fertility preservation. She is experienced in Day 3 and Day 5 embryo biopsy, a highly precise procedure in which a small number of cells are carefully removed from an embryo for genetic analysis while maintaining the embryo's developmental potential. She is also certified in ovarian tissue cryopreservation, an advanced fertility-preservation technique that focuses on preserving ovarian tissue for potential future reproductive use. Alongside her clinical work, Dr. Ameya has developed a strong research interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning , embryo metabolism and secretomics in embryology. Her research explores how AI can be combined with embryological and clinical information to support embryo selection and implantation prediction. She has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed scientific publications. Her professional journey brings together advanced embryology, embryo biopsy, fertility preservation, reproductive research and emerging AI technologies.
