The sun is setting and Tayma wants it to stay! Where does the sun go at night? Join Tayma, Sari and their leaf-sprout friend Sprig on a quiet hill in Fernwick to find out, with a little glowing Earth globe and a paper-lantern sun:
Rotate: The Earth spins slowly, round and round, all the time. (Can you say "rotate"?)
Day: The part of the Earth that faces the sun has daytime.
Night: The part that turns away from the sun has night, and the sun is shining on the other side of the world.
Morning again: As the Earth keeps turning, our place turns back toward the sun: sunrise!
Made for curious kids ages 3–7, with call-and-response moments to say along.
Look closer. Wonder more.
