Is Britain about to replace the Land Rover with the vehicle Land Rover tried to stop? The Ineos Grenadier is Team Grenadier's entry for the British Army's £2bn Light Mobility Vehicle (LMV) programme — one platform, nine variants, one winner — up against Land Rover's own Defender Wolf Series II. Land Rover's bid carries the name on a modern monocoque. The Grenadier carries the old Defender's ladder-frame philosophy under a different badge. This video covers the 2016–2020 High Court fight over the Defender's shape, the Hambach factory and the "70% British" claim, battle mode and the armoured EPV, Hobson Industries' role, Ineos Automotive's finances, and what the tender notice says happens next.
