Elizabeth

Elizabeth is an English Country Dance devised by Colin Hume in1991. It is a proper duple minor dance. The tune was composed by Colin for the dance. It was performed by Masquerade (Daphne Baker, Graham Knibbs, and Stephen Thomas). It is used with permission of Colin Hume: https://colinhume.com/cbooks.htm The animation plays at 104 counts per minute normally, but the first time through the set the dance is slowed down so people can learn the figures more readily. Men are drawn as rectangles, women as ellipses. Each couple is drawn in its own color, however the border of each dancer indicates what role they currently play so the border color will change each time through the minor set. https://www.upadouble.info/
