Sunday Longplay - Inceptroid (Metroid NES ROM Hack)

Hack by Odb718: https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/9983/ This week on Sunday Longplay, I'm playing a newly released Metroid hack! Welcome to Inceptroid! Inceptroid is a hack that places the 4 main worlds directly on top of one another. Brinstar, Norfair, Kraid, Ridley, they all take up the same space. This means a lot of backtracking. But the good news, it’s a smaller map. It will take a while to beat. The Mother Brain fight is unforgiving. Save States in Tourain is a good idea. There are more than a couple unique weapon checks. Most people don’t recognize the 1 missile check when they come across it. It’s very early in the game. If you’re not sure how to do it, Longbeam helps. Bombs and Screw Attack are late in the game. There is a secrete, not so secrete, room you need Icebeam to get into. Wave Blocks lock you out of Kraid’s room but can be found in his area. The only “trick” needed to beat the game is an air jump after Morph Ball.
