Beautiful Recitation of Surah Al-Baqarah | Ruku with Hadr Recitation | Riwayat Hafs Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh! Alhamdulillah, I am pleased to share with you a beautiful recitation from Surah Al-Baqarah, the second Surah of the Holy Quran. In this video, I present one Ruku of Surah Al-Baqarah in the style of Hadr recitation, according to the narration of Imam Hafs (Riwayat Hafs ‘an ‘Asim). Hadr is a style of Quranic recitation in which the verses are recited at a relatively brisk pace while maintaining the essential rules of Tajweed, correct pronunciation, and the proper characteristics of the Arabic letters. The purpose is not merely to recite quickly, but to recite the words of Allah Almighty accurately and carefully, without compromising the rules of Tajweed. 📖 What Will You Find in This Video? 1. Recitation of One Ruku from Surah Al-Baqarah In this video, I recite one Ruku of Surah Al-Baqarah in Hadr style. Listen attentively to the pronunciation of the Quranic words, the articulation points of the Arabic letters (Makharij), and the application of the rules of Tajweed. 2. Quranic Recitation According to Riwayat Hafs The recitation follows Riwayat Hafs ‘an ‘Asim. Students of the Holy Quran can listen carefully and practise their own recitation by paying attention to the correct pronunciation of the letters, vowels, and Quranic words. 3. Practice of Tajweed Rules While listening to the recitation, pay attention to the rules of Noon Sakin and Tanween, Meem Sakin, Ghunnah, Qalqalah, Madd, and the rules of stopping and starting (Waqf and Ibtida), wherever applicable. Remember that beautiful Quranic recitation is not only about having a pleasant voice. It is also about respecting every letter, observing its correct articulation point, and applying the rules of Tajweed as accurately as possible. 4. Special Practice of the Final Ayah At the end of this video, I also present the recitation and pronunciation practice of one Ayah. Listen to this final Ayah carefully and try to follow the recitation. Repeat it several times to improve your pronunciation, fluency, and confidence in Quranic recitation. 🎧 A Message for Quran Students Dear students and lovers of the Holy Quran! I encourage you to listen to this recitation with full attention. Do not listen only for enjoyment; listen with the intention of learning, improving your pronunciation, and strengthening your connection with the Book of Allah. If you are learning Hadr recitation, practise regularly and remember that speed must never come at the expense of correct Tajweed. First, learn to pronounce every letter correctly. Then practise fluency while observing the rules of recitation. May Allah Almighty make the Holy Quran the light of our hearts, the guidance of our lives, and a source of peace and blessings for all of us. May Allah accept this humble effort and enable us all to recite the Holy Quran with sincerity, accuracy, and love.
