We Tried Vietnam's Cheapest Luxury Cruise... Was It Worth It?

Our journey through Vietnam continues as we spend 24 hours aboard a luxury cruise in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam! 🇻🇳 In this video, we're exploring Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its incredible limestone islands and beautiful scenery. But with so many cruises to choose from, we wanted to find out if a luxury overnight cruise is actually worth the money. We start with a transfer from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay, where we're surprised to find what looks like a ghost town. Despite the empty buildings, we're excited to board our cruise ship and see what the next 24 hours have in store. Once onboard, we're welcomed with watermelon juice before our first buffet lunch. We try Vietnamese foods, including green mango salad, fried oysters, and fish soup, while cruising past Ha Long Bay's famous limestone formations. After lunch, it's time to check into our luxury cabin. Our room has a queen-sized bed, a private balcony overlooking Ha Long Bay, and a bathtub with an incredible view. We also discover local vendors selling drinks and snacks directly from small boats, so naturally, we have to give that a try. Next, we head out kayaking through Ha Long Bay's Dark and Light Cave. While the caves aren't exactly what we expected, the surrounding scenery is incredible, and we explore parts of the bay larger cruise ships can't reach. Back onboard, we give you a tour of our luxury cruise ship, including the rooftop jacuzzi, swimming pool, gym, dining room, bar, and outdoor lounges. As evening arrives, we sit down for a multi-course dinner featuring duck salad, pumpkin soup, sea bass, steak, and dessert. Then we try something unexpected on a luxury cruise, squid fishing in Ha Long Bay! The next morning starts with a 6:30 AM Tai Chi class, followed by breakfast and time enjoying the views from our balcony. Before leaving, we have one final buffet meal and reflect on our experience.
