DRAGON RULER - Just another Tenpai or Floodgate Deck? - Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

TIMESTAMPS 00:00 - Tenpai 02:03 - Tenpai 2 05:05 - Flootgate 08:53 - Flootgate 2 12:02 - Armed Dragon 14:51 - Burn Welcome back, duelists! Today, we're taking a trip back in time to look at one of the most legendary archetypes in Yu-Gi-Oh! history: Dragon Ruler! After pulling a stunning Royal Finish Chasma, Dragon Ruler of Auroras, it was the perfect excuse to dust off this iconic deck. I still clearly remember talking to a Konami staff member at a YCS while working as a Judge, who confessed they never expected the Dragon Rulers to be that dominant—a memory that will stick with me forever! Unfortunately, the deck has lost much of its former glory in modern Yu-Gi-Oh! Today, you mostly see it reduced to a Floodgate strategy or mixed with Tenpai. While the effects of Chasma and Eclipse Wyvern are still good, they simply aren't enough when other decks can drop ten disruptions off a single card. Watch as I explore the current state of Dragon Ruler and see if this legendary archetype has any magic left for the current meta! #YuGiOh #MasterDuel #DragonRuler #Chasma #Nostalgia #Floodgate #Tenpai #MasterDuelGameplay
